General

Can I see examples of deployed Papyrs intranets?

Almost all Papyrs sites are wikis and intranets for internal use, so those are not public. If you sign up for a trial however, we include a number of example pages so you can dive right in and see what a Papyrs site could look like for your organization (and of course the documentation site you're viewing right now is running on Papyrs).

What's with the name, Papyrs?

We pronounce it like papers. We thought it would be a nice idea to base the name on Papyrus, a plant-based paper-like material used in ancient times to write on. A brilliant invention, used first by the ancient Egyptians. Their knowledge bases didn't require wifi either, just water.
